Signup lists for the daily "scrambles" can also be found in the pro shop (see the organized golf link for more details). These groups are an excellent way to meet other members and to get a little friendly competition. There is a group to meet everyone's personality and skill level.

Claude Carson - Head Golf Professional - Claude has been the head professional at WCC since December 1994. He is a Class A PGA Professional. Claude is available for lessons, including video analysis. He and his staff oversee all tournaments for members and outside events. | |||

The pro shop is located just inside the front door. Here,
Claude, Dennis and Tom can take care of all of your golfing needs.
Come in and sign up for a cart before the round, pick up some balls,
check out the selection of clubs, or look over the selection of
clothes. As a Titleist®
staff member, Claude is sure to have the latest Titleist®
and Cobra® clubs, as
well as all other major manufactures, including Ping®,
Calloway®,
and TaylorMade®. If the flat stick isn't
working, you can find an assortment of Scotty Cameron®,
Ping® and Odyssey®
putters. There are plenty of demo clubs that you can hit on
the range or even take on the course to make sure that you get the
club to fit your needs. The shop also carries a wide selection
of men's and ladies clothing from the finest manufactures including
Ashworth®,
Cutter & Buck®,
Robert Bryan®,
Foot Joy®,
and Adidas®; with or
without the WCC logo.
If your game
needs a little work. Sign up for a lesson. Claude is
available for lessons whether you are a beginner or need to get
rid of some old bad habits. Non-members can also call the pro shop at 757-221-0573 to
set up a lesson. Lessons generally take place on the
range, but can also occur at the pitching area, putting green or
on the course, depending on your needs. Each summer, a one
week junior clinic is also available.
