This par 5 is WCC's signature hole. The drive must clear a large hill to a blind landing area to have any chance to get home in regulation. The second shot is played short of a pond, take care to lay up to the correct side of the fairway for the best approach to the green as the right side of the fairway is elevated with respect to the left side of the fairway. The approach is played over a pond to an elevated green. If your approach comes up short it can roll all the way down the slope; go over the green your ball can end up in a hazard. Tip from the Pro: Keep your tee shot down the right side of this fairway, which opens up the landing area. Take an extra club to the green due to the elevation change. |
