THE COURSE

Our championship golf course, with its tree-lined fairways, is a traditionally designed, 18-hole regulation course that is walker-friendly and designed to be enjoyed by players of all levels of skill, age and experience. The course was designed by William F. Gordon and opened for play in 1960.  The course is set in rolling terrain with several interesting elevation changes coming into play, particularly on the front nine.  There is a large lake on the course, scenic and teeming with wildlife. The fairways are native Bermuda and the greens are bent grass. Several large wells on the property insure that more than ample water is available to maintain the course and keep the lake full. The climate allows golf on most days in the winter.
 
Our Course Superintendent, Jeff Whitmire, and his staff work hard to keep the course in outstanding condition throughout the year.
